I am a Marriage and Family Therapist licensed by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences, providing psychotherapy for adults and adolescents. I work with clients to collaboratively develop a plan that addresses your needs, incorporates your strengths, and alleviates your symptoms in the timeliest way possible. My approach is compassionate, solution-focused, and pragmatic. I believe that my clients ultimately know what is best for them, and it is my job to facilitate improvement through an empathic yet challenging therapeutic environment. I work with adults and adolescents around issues including anxiety, depression, chronic pain, substance use disorders, trauma, life transitions and relationship issues. I am dedicated to helping individuals discover new perspectives and solutions to difficult life challenges so that they may unleash and experience their true potential. I have extensive experience treating clients in residential and outpatient treatment settings. My genuine interest in people has helped me facilitate building the necessary therapeutic relationship to bring about change within the client.
I am able to treat clients with efficacy and efficiency, guided by the primary motivation of the client’s welfare and success. My extensive experience has seen me work with both adults and children of varying ages and cultural backgrounds, presenting with a diverse range of complaints and conditions. I am able to communicate effectively with clients and adapt my style and techniques according to individual needs and personalities. I enjoy the challenges of working with different people and find the work incredibly rewarding. If you are experiencing depression, anxiety, chronic pain, stress and relationship issues, we will identify patterns of thoughts, feelings and behaviors that are holding you back. We will work on rediscovering your strengths, creating alternative ways of thinking and being, making concrete changes, reducing your stress level and helping you find and overcome your challenges.
